Just when this shit storm of my life is couldn’t be worse, and I thought I couldn’t feel worse about myself, the this whole back issue hits a new level and my gym won’t let me lift for a while. Now I’m feeling even worse that I have been for the last month.
Any suggestions for low-impact cardio, running triggers the back stuff.
Dear Crossfitters, trainers, chiropractors, and any/all knowledgeable folks
I’ve had lower back pains for a almost a month now. One of the coaches at my gym told me it sounds like an IT band issue. I use my roller most nights for usually 10 minutes or so, and I have a ball that I use.
Tonight we did a mile run and about 3/4 of the way through it acted up really bad. When I grabbed my bar to get started setting up, the owner of the gym saw me holding my back and told me she didn’t want me using weights for a while. and now I’m sad!
any advice for getting this healed/back to normal? I don’t want to miss out on lifting for too long. What can I do? What could have suddenly brought this on?
